What a tap records

When you open an Automapal link, we record the time, your IP address, browser and device details (such as model, OS version, screen size and language), the link you opened, and any ad click ID in the link.

Your consent

Before you continue, the link page asks whether ad results may be reported. If you decline, no event about your tap or install is sent to the ad network.

Why

We use this to send you to the right app store and to match an app install to the ad that led to it. When an install leads to a trial or purchase, we report that event to the ad network that showed the ad, using hashed or pseudonymous identifiers.

How long we keep it

Tap records are kept for up to 30 days. Install matches are kept for as long as needed to report on ad results.

Your choices

You can limit ad tracking in your device settings. To ask about or delete data related to you, contact the app developer whose link you opened, or write to us at the address on the app's store page.
